Copyright / DMCA

Aurooo respects the rights of creators and copyright holders. If you believe your work appears on Aurooo without permission, here is how to request its removal.

This page is a baseline template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch. It describes a US-style DMCA process; other jurisdictions may require additional or different steps.

1. Reporting infringement

To file a takedown request, email copyright@aurooo.com with:

  • Your contact information (name, email, and postal address).
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The Aurooo URL(s) or work slug(s) of the material you want removed.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

2. What happens next

On receiving a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable access to the material and notify the uploader. If the uploader has an account, we will share the notice with them as required by law.

3. Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@aurooo.comthat includes your contact details, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the appropriate jurisdiction's courts. We may restore the material after the statutory period if the claimant does not file action.

4. Repeat infringers

Aurooo terminates accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.

5. Misrepresentations

Knowingly material misrepresentations in a takedown or counter-notice may subject the sender to liability. Please be sure of your claims before writing.
